A Recent Rescue
What do you do when you see a loose dog running down Farrington Highway in the middle of Kapolei at 8:00 p.m.? If you're PDP volunteers, Michelle and Sabrina, it's a rescue mission! As Animal Angels, they carry food in their vehicles at all times. So with the help of friends and family, along with a dog trap, they spent the next 90-minutes trying to catch a very scared and skinny dog. Rosco, as he's now known, was likely a hunting dog lost in the hills above Makakilo. The timid pitmix puppy is less than a year old and will need to be rehabilitated in foster care, sterilized and microchipped before being made available for adoption.
